Ordered mine from Amazon over a month ago, would have held on and ordered direct had I known the situation. I guess the problem was made a little by yourselves for not taking pre-orders as soon as you knew Amazon etc...had the book up for sale. That still doesn't forgive them of course but I for one would have ordered direct had I the option at the time :( Anyway hoping to get my copy this week and already planning a slight variant game a week or so later!

Hello Paul You have made a fair point. That is why as soon as our book went on sale we honoured and dispatched all orders that we have received to the central distributors that Amazon and the Book Depository use. Your book from them should arrive very soon. We will offer our own pre- order service in the future. |

Hi
I've just joined the forum having collected my copy from Warlord HQ today. Decided I couldn't wait for any delivery, although up to now I have never been let down by Warlord's mail order. Only ever had to wait two days, apart from any pre-orders, of course.
The book looks fantastic. There are rules for just about everything in there and some great pictures, with references to figure manufacturers too. Great stuff. Now to find a quiet corner and read! |

| I pre-ordered mine, optimistically at the end of September, from The Book Depository. Their tracking order news as of a few minutes ago is that the order is still "processing", but that they await the book's "publication"! Perhaps the Depository needs a suppository? |

Hello again Drusty and Paul
Your copies from Amazon and the Book Depository should arrive very soon. On Saturday morning we posted the last order of books that we have received from the distribution centre to be delivered to them on Monday. In the morning I will contact the distribution centre and try and find out how long it should take for them to forward books they have received. |

Thanks Black Sheep, but on checking the Amazon status of my order just now (very early November the 2nd) I discovered that my order placed on the 30th September and originally programmed to be despatched on the 1st of November had now been put back by Amazon to December 13th!!!!!
Amazon order has therefore been duly cancelled and a direct order with yourselves placed.
It seems like Amazon has managed to 'royally roger' publisher and purchaser alike!

| Just put an order in too, had ordered from amazon but was put off by the delay. Will be making some purchases at warfare in a couple of weeks. Can anyone assist with a rough idea of numbers of figures etc ? If it is low numbers I can feel a foundry order coming on ! Mike |

I've cancelled with The Book Depot. Apart from what they've said on my tracking order (see above), their webpage for the rules now says: "currently unavailable" but also "published 31st Oct"!?
So much for pre-ordering. There must be witchcraft afoot.
I've put in a order directly with the publishers, and in anticipation would like to ask:
1. How many Guardians of Blind Obedience are needed in the average game? 2. Are there rules for ducking stools? |

| Well back from a good 50 miler round the glorious coast of Galloway and a cool 3 hrs with Witchfinder .A rude ? raised how on earth did you get a product of that quality that could be resold at £15.Very pleased and shall be working on giving the rules a tarten spin involving Sawney Bean and Covannaters and rhe Whithorn persecutions.A great framework which I think could run and run.I feel it could go as big as VBCW and I have been involved with that since day one. |
