Just waiting for my set to join me here in Kabul.

I'm looking at the possibility of using 15s, especially seeing as how Blue Moon have just released a really nice horror range, vampires, witches, werewolves and slayers etc.

I'm planning on using 28mm figures and was wondering what size the playing area should be for the average game?

Hello Drusty
Five out of the six Encounters in the book are played on a 4ft X 4ft table and the remaining Encounter played on a 4ft X 6ft area. You could have a game on a smaller table too, especially if you add a a bit of terrain to break up line of sight.

Oooh I like the idea of using a 4' x 4' table or even a little smaller. I can put up a 6' x 4' at home but gets a bit cluttered and makes my flat look like a wargames shop (mmm not a bad thing), but would be nice to use a dinning table and leave it set up...dinner on my lap in front of TV sounds acceptable

I ordered mine a few weeks ago from the Book Depository after seeing they accepted pre-orders, so I hope they really will be getting the rules to sell!

Hello shelldrake
The Book Depository and a couple of other large book distributors did advertise the book before they contacted us directly. To avoid any inconvenience to fellow wargamers we have agreed to honour the orders placed with them before we released the book, but not after. Your order should be OK.
From now on people can only buy the book from our site or from Warlord Games.

Good call black sheep this cut price book rustling by Book Depositry and Amazon may be good for the customer but its of little advantage to the producer.

Thank you for the feed back - I had no idea that these companies do this type of thing, so it is a bit of an eye opener. How do they get away with it?

My understanding Shelldrake is that once a title and an ISBN number front cover and page length is registered Amason and Book depositry trawl them and then offer for sale.It affected Hail Caesar as well which i think Amason charged £18 for. With Hastings publications Very British civil War it was avoided by not registering for an ISBN number hence pamphlet rather than book.Anyway nearly monday when good old postie should deliver and being a retired gentleman a soothing cup of Earl Grey and a long perusal over breakfast.

Ordered mine from Amazon over a month ago, would have held on and ordered direct had I known the situation.
I guess the problem was made a little by yourselves for not taking pre-orders as soon as you knew Amazon etc...had the book up for sale. That still doesn't forgive them of course but I for one would have ordered direct had I the option at the time :(
Anyway hoping to get my copy this week and already planning a slight variant game a week or so later!

May this Samhain cleanse your heart, your soul, and your mind!
