Greetings all. I just joined the forum and wanted to say hi. I picked up Witchfinder last week when I finally came across a copy at Cold Wars. It looks even better than I'd anticipated. I've read over the rules and can't wait to play my first game.
I'll be using my Mordheim figures and scenery, along with a big collection of Foundry conquistadors and sea dogs. I'm considering getting some of the Malifaux scenery as well.
One of the things I like about small skirmish games is the low startup cost and ease of getting in a complete game. Wait, I'll start again. Among the various reasons I like small skirmish games are such diverse elements as low startup costs, ease of getting in a complete game in an evening, an almost fanatical dedication to the Pope, and the ease of running a campaign. Phew!
Anyway, I look forward to playing and discussing Witchfinder General and all the various topics that will spin off from it.

Hello Paisan from across the pond. As mentioned you'll find everyone here really friendly. You'll be sure to get a lot of fun from the game. I too play Malifaux and use the terraclips streets and buildings, it works well. All the best. Sarge |

Welcome aboard, Paisan! Must confess I like the look of the Terraclips scenery too; there's also 4ground and others who do some nice laser-cut MDF buildings. @Undave: Not eating any pies at your house! |
