Hello fellow finders. I recently picked up a set of gallows made from a laser cut mdf material. I was a bit worried it may be a bit too wild west in look, but now its finished although probably not historically correct it does look cinematically correct. Just the way I like it. Picture on my blog as follows

Hi Sarge
That looks like the Gallows set from BattleFlag. They're available from 1st Corps/Curteys. I thought about that as well, but felt it was too elaborate. I think it would look good for bigger towns but I think I prefer the Gibbet from Redoubt, just for its simplicity and that "hastily erected" look.
By the way, just noticed on your blog that you were recently hitched! Congratulations to you both. |

| Great photo Sarge, it is very atmospheric. Who manufactures the hangman figure? |

The hangman is from the Westwind range of figures, prisoners and guy with pointy sword are Bicorne (i think) and the preacher is Redoubt. Ame playing this weekend and its going to be a rescue mission for the forces of evil, the whole scenario is based on the fact I have brought a set of gallows I'll try and remember to get some photos, figured the gallows would look great with a crowd of angry villagers in the scene. |
