Think I might add some kind of special rule for fun, maybe some kind of scarper test when within say 8" of it, of better still for my longer term campaign ideas maybe the spreading of disease and feasting by noctelingers in the area....any other ideas :-)
Superb plague pit Sarge. I have heard unconfirmed reports that the sinister Witch Coven of Portemdown have had a direct hand in actually creating and spreading some strains of plague (C17th biological warfare?). Equally worrying are the terrifying accounts of the dead rising from some plague pits to attack the living. It appears that these foul abominations do not stay animated for too long and although some can be quite slow moving (D6 minus 1 manoeuvre)others can be very fast (D10 manoeuvre)and extremely vicious in combat.
Ohhh...thats it then, for my next linked campaign game. Witches bringing back the plauge ridden dead, with only the timely intervention of a witchfinder retinue to burn the pit and cleanse it with the use of an ancient biblical text. Battle report to follow
