Posted - 14 Dec 2011 : 09:13:20 Ran out witchfinder general last night at my local gaming club. I think it was a success and recieved happily by the players involved and created a lot of interest with watchers too. Would suggest this makes a nice change from stuffy historical games and also was pleased some of the 'gamesworkshop' crowd in our club showed some interest too. The game is ideal for a club night, not too long but enough playability and detail in the game to make it fun. Fast playing and not too serious, easy for new players to pick up. Would hope I now have some converts in my local club and at some point in the future will maybe run some kind of campaign. So hope you enjoy playing at your local clubs...have a blast |

Posted - 14 Dec 2011 : 23:19:22 I think the GW players would be easy to pull in. This game is reminiscent of both Lord of the Rings and Mordheim, somewhat. Both good things, I might add.
The historical players will like it too, if they like this period.
Remember if you are doing demo games to always let the wookie win! |
